The Village of Downers Grove in Chicago has agreed to host the 2007 National Ice Carving Championships in February on the weekend of the 10th and 11th .This years format as approved by the Board of Directors is a two day event and on Saturday each carver will have three Clinebell Blocks of ice with a time limit of 5 hours to complete their freestyle competition ice sculpture.
